One Hour Shopping Cart
By Jeanette | July 17, 2010
If ever there was a much-needed program, it’s our new One Hour Shopping Cart. After all, there are thousands of people already paying for a shopping cart they don’t know how to use! And those who DO use it are only using about one-tenth of its power.
That’s exactly why I created the One Hour Shopping Cart program – to teach the basics & beyond.
There are already more than 30 how-to videos in the member site for this program and more are added as the participants ask questions. In fact, they get 60 days of free answers, just for signing up for the program! It’s a great bonus.
So if you haven’t taken advantage of the One Hour Shopping Cart – do it today. For yourself AND your customers!

Tweets Added To Affiliate Toolbox
By Jeanette | February 12, 2010
I just added some quick tweets you can use to promote the Internet Marketing QuickStart. As you’ll recall, this is the primary method for getting someone started online. So while it is a free report, it cookies the visitor with your affiliate ID so that anything they purchase from the report is credited to your account.
Pick up the new tweets from the IMQS toolbox.

FAQ: Banned URL?
By Jeanette | September 27, 2009
Here’s a question from a concerned affiliate:
I tried posting my link on facebook and it said people have complained about banned substance in the link. Have you had anyone else encounter that problem?
If you have that problem, first look at your link. If you are using a shortening service like budurl.com it is most likely that that is culprit. Thousands of people use that service each day and you can imagine how many knowingly and unknowingly send unwanted information (aka spam) to people on Facebook with that URL.
To see whether it’s the REAL url or the shortening URL, post a comment with the full original url. In almost all cases you’ll find that is just fine and it IS the shortening URL that has caused the problem.
To resolve the problem you can:
- Use a different shortening service and see if their reputation is still clean.
- Purchase a domain and redirect it to your affiliate link. This is great for products you recommend on a regular basis.
- Purchase one domain from which you do all of your redirects, such as JeanetteRecommends. Then you can set up individual pages for each product you recommend and you won’t be competing with others who may be spamming with a link shortening service.

Tip: Use The Product
By Jeanette | July 10, 2009
One of the easiest ways to sell a product is to consume a product. It’s much easier to tell people what’s good about a product when you’re using it yourself. If you don’t generally do this, it’s time to start.
I highly recommend you sign up for the $1 webinar for the DotCom Jumpstart, if you haven’t already done so. Watch the video. Then use the email on “better than I expected” in the affiliate toolbox to promote the $1 webinar replay. It will be easier when you feel like it’s coming from you.

PPC + TT = Success
By Jeanette | July 4, 2009
One of the fastest ways to promote an affiliate product is to use pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. PPC ads are those 4-line ads that show up on the right side of the search results in all of the major search engines.
Rather than your having to start from scratch, I’ve provided some PPC ads ready for your use in the affiliate toolboxes for many of the TechTamers’ products.
