Tweets Added To Affiliate Toolbox

By Jeanette | February 12, 2010

I just added some quick tweets you can use to promote the Internet Marketing QuickStart. As you’ll recall, this is the primary method for getting someone started online. So while it is a free report, it cookies the visitor with your affiliate ID so that anything they purchase from the report is credited to your account.

Let’s Rock in 2010!

By Jeanette | December 31, 2009

Happy New Year! Well, it’s New Year SOMEwhere! :-)

Just wanted to get you off on the right foot – and help you build your revenue this year from the TechTamers affiliate program.

The first event you’ll want to promote is a special workshop for those who have been online for six months or more but aren’t yet making the revenue they would like. I’ll bet you know a lot of people in THAT category!

Connie Ragen Green and I have teamed up to co-host a live event in Las Vegas, January 22-24. That’s just around the corner!

Not only will you earn from the promotion of the workshop – but you’ll also earn from the backend sales we make AT the workshop. It can be a very profitable promotion for you.

The workshop is affordably priced at under two hundred dollars, so it will sell well. And who doesn’t love Las Vegas in January? It’s so much warmer than a lot of other cities at that time of year!

Here are the steps you need to take to get the year rolling right:

1. Go over and sign up for the information on the workshop at http://OnlineRevenueWorkshop.com

This will get you into the followup sequence so you can see all of the other information we’re sending to the visitors you send to us. We want to be sure we’re doing a GREAT job of followup in order to close as many sales for you as possible.

2. Read through the sales letter. Make note of any points that you can talk about in a blog post or article.

3. Visit the Affiliate ToolBox at
http://OnlineRevenueWorkshop.com/toolbox

4. Post to your blog about the event.

5. Tweet about the event.

6. Use other promotional tools that we provide in the toolbox.

We are on a tight schedule, so please start promoting for this as soon as possible.  Participants must register no later than January 14, so you have two weeks to really get the word out.

Connie and I are here to support you and provide you with the tools you need to generate revenue from your promotional efforts. If you need for us to jump on a call to talk about, do a cross-tweet campaign or anything else, please let us know!

Here’s to a Rockin Start for 2010!

Relaunch of DotComJumpstart

By Jeanette | September 27, 2009

Connie Ragen Green & I are relaunching the DotComJumpstart. The FREE preview webinar will be Wednesday, September 30th. Naturally you’ll want to get as many people on that event as possible, as that will give them a preview of the full four-week course.

But don’t stop there! The full course doesn’t start until October 7 – so we will be taking registrations through October 9th. Then the course will be locked and put back into the vault until 2010.

This is the IDEAL time to encourage people to sign up for a course. With this designed for people who are new online, they can get their business up and running and earn a little extra money for the holidays. So encourage your blog readers, your tweeps, your Facebook buddies, etc – to sign up for the http://DotComJumpstart.com

FAQ: Banned URL?

By Jeanette | September 27, 2009

Here’s a question from a concerned affiliate:

I tried posting my link on facebook and it said people have complained about banned substance in the link.  Have you had anyone else encounter that problem?

If you have that problem, first look at your link. If you are using a shortening service like budurl.com it is most likely that that is culprit. Thousands of people use that service each day and you can imagine how many knowingly and unknowingly send unwanted information (aka spam) to people on Facebook with that URL.

To see whether it’s the REAL url or the shortening URL, post a comment with the full original url. In almost all cases you’ll find that is just fine and it IS the shortening URL that has caused the problem.

To resolve the problem you can:

  1. Use a different shortening service and see if their reputation is still clean.
  2. Purchase a domain and redirect it to your affiliate link. This is great for products you recommend on a regular basis.
  3. Purchase one domain from which you do all of your redirects, such as JeanetteRecommends. Then you can set up individual pages for each product you recommend and you won’t be competing with others who may be spamming with a link shortening service.

Tip: Use The Product

By Jeanette | July 10, 2009

One of the easiest ways to sell a product is to consume a product. It’s much easier to tell people what’s good about a product when you’re using it yourself. If you don’t generally do this, it’s time to start.

I highly recommend you sign up for the $1 webinar for the DotCom Jumpstart, if you haven’t already done so. Watch the video. Then use the email on “better than I expected” in the affiliate toolbox to promote the $1 webinar replay. It will be easier when you feel like it’s coming from you.

DotCom Jumpstart 2-Pay Deadline

By Jeanette | July 10, 2009

Midnight tonight is the deadline for the two payment option for the DotCom Jumpstart.

So I’d recommend you send a short email to your list, talking about the DotCom Jumpstart – and perhaps adding a P.S. about the deadline.

For your convenience I’ve added a couple more ready to copy and paste emails in the toolbox at

http://DotComJumpstart.com/toolbox

You should also tweet once or twice about the deadline as well.

You’ll want to continue to promote the DotComJumpstart heavily this week. While we launch the course on Wednesday, we’ll continue to take registrations through Friday of next week.
